1:Tell us a little about yourself!
My name is Libbie Crane. I am a Richmond native, however, spent most of my adult life living and working as a producer in TV and advertising production and post production in New York City. I have two amazing kiddos who are the light of my life.
2:Tell us a little bit about your space.
CycleBar is a franchise I co-own with my biz partner Donna Suro. Donna was the one who came to me with the desire knowing I was a huge fitness and spinning buff. CycleBar is Premium Indoor Cycling located in the new development at GreenGate west of Short Pump.

3: What inspired your journey/ career in fitness?
I have been a big fan of indoor cycling since I was taken to a spin class at New York Sports Club a very long time ago. It was an amazing cardio workout and one that allowed me to get my heart rate up with ease on the joints and knees. It quickly became part of my routine. Upon my return to Richmond there were not many indoor cycling class offerings. I was frustrated and disappointed with the classes I attended because it was not the same level of a workout I'd been used to. I wanted to bring the intense workout experience I had in Manhattan to Richmond and when presented with CycleBar it seemed like a great gateway to making that happen.
4: Name something about your business that most people don’t know.
The shoe cubbies in the front lobby are labeled with in order of bike numbers and riders shoe sizes are put in the corresponding bike cubby ready for you for class. Our riders still are not used to this so there's allot of "shoe stealing" going on at the moment as we work to train our riders.

5: What does the customer get when using your services?
First and foremost, our riders get a kick ass workout and entire full service experience when riding at our studio. We provide it all from the bikes, shoes and water bottles to lockers, towels, showers, ear plugs, bobby pins, hair ties, shampoo and conditioner and rockin' music....even mints! All you need is yourself!
6: Describe a typical day working at Cyclebar Greengate. What's the vibe?
A typical day at CycleBar starts with opening our doors bright and early at 5pm to greet those earlier risers who want to get their morning started right. We get all our computers fired up, the music rockin', check that the studio is spic and span, review the class list and get famliiar with any new riders coming in, put a smile on our face to greet those riders and help them get set up for class. Our studio has loads of energy with pumping music in the lobby and commuity room, as well as in the CycleTheater where class takes place. After class there's usually allot of socializing going on in the community room and lobby. It's a fun place where people like to meet up.

7: The workout has just finished, where do most of your clients head?
At the moment, most of our riders head over and sit on the patio at the new Starbucks that has opened in GreenGate. Soon they will have options like The Daily, Mellow Mushroom, Red Salt and West Coast Provisions to have coffee, grab a bite and socialize or go for a sauna or massage at our soon-to-be neighbor, Purify!
8: What is the quote that best describes Cyclebar Greengate?

10: If you became a multi-millionaire overnight, what would you buy your space/ team/ members?
Oooooo.....good question, I'd likely give our fabulous team a big hefty bonus and maybe buy another CycleBar for RVA ; )
